Acden is currently accepting applications for one (1) Proposal and Contracts Coordinator with a keen eye for detail. Based out of the Acden Headquarters in the Taiganova Industrial Eco Park, Fort McMurray, Alta.

What would your role entail?

You will lead the proposal process for Acden. Collaborating with your leader (the Contracts Manager), Acden managers and other internal stakeholders, you will create a compelling value proposition to position Acden’s services to current and prospective clients as well as maintain records and reporting for contracts.

What are the main duties?

  • You will lead and coordinate proposal submissions with multiple stakeholders.
  • You will write compelling yet accurate responses to information requests.
  • You will maintain accurate records and document control.
  • You will regularly use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • You will support with the draft and review stages of contracts, purchase orders, and other agreements.
  • Primarily Monday to Friday, 8-hr days.

What does Acden need from me?

  • Required: 3 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement.
  • Required: high degree of professionalism, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • MUST pass Indeed attention to detail assessment with Highly Proficient or Expert score to be considered.
  • Required: Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Required: Collaborative demeanor with client and stakeholder empathy and ethics.
  • Required: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, & presentation skills.
  • Required: Ability to work efficiently on multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
  • Required: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Required: Professional self-starter with high level of motivation and initiative.
  • Required: Ability to collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in proposal writing, business writing, contract writing, or related discipline.
  • Preferred: Oilsands industry-specific knowledge.
  • Asset: Post-secondary education such as diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline.
  • Asset: Customer relationship management (CRM) software experience.
