Repair Advisor and Auditing Coordinator

**Position Summary**:
The Internal Repair Advisor & Auditing Coordinator is responsible for the direction of pre-repair guidance and post-repair auditing to ensure the most efficient, safe and effective repairs to rental and lease internal assets.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all internal units’ repairs are maximizing warranty opportunities
- Provide direct guidance to technicians on pre-repair review and process to ensure the most collaborative and effective repair approach
- Review and approve all completed repairs on internal machines in a given region
- Review unaccepted repairs with applicable Service Managers to assess post-repair concerns and support training process to improve repair approaches
- Generate and follow up on Internal service calls with no activity, reducing machine down time
- Monitor ‘hard down’ assets, providing support through creative solutions to reduce repair timelines
- Work with the parts team to come up creative solutions to parts delay’s when applicable
- Create Purchase orders (as approved) for large vendor purchases such as industrial batteries/tires/engines.
- Monitoring troubled/high maintenance and downtime assets and suggesting removing them from the fleet
- Branch visits to review the internal fleet assets, and provide support to service support team members as needed
- Additional duties as may be assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- 5+ years experience in a technician role
- A Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification is considered a strong asset.
- Possess superior interpersonal, communications and analytical skills
- Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Industry experience may be considered an asset
- Must be extremely organized and a self-starter; able to work with limited supervision
- Possess superior interpersonal, communications and analytical skills
- Must be a strong multi-tasker, and must excel at coping with conflicting priorities
