The qualified person will understand all aspects of safety, compliance and HR in the trucking industry and be able to perform the following:
**Safety and Compliance**
- Maintain Safety Sites, ISN, Complyworks, Avetta
- Policy and Procedure development and implementation
- Incident reporting, documentation, and Statistics - Shared
- Ensure we maintain COR, WCB, JHSC, NSC and CVSE monitoring and compliance.
- Internal auditing and Updating Terminals with trailer and driver credentials
- Participate in external training and courses.
- Carding at various Terminals
- Samsara Electronic logs, Pre/Post Trip Repair tracking and Samsara managing - reports, new installs, repairs and Daily log audits & unidentified driving.
- Website development & Social Media
- Tool Replacement - IE - fittings, supplies, consumables - in coordination with yard hand.
- Yard Supervisionfor Environmental and Safety Concerns
- FMCSA & Hazmat certifications (US & Canada)
- ICBC Insurance claims
- Site surveys
- Assist with on call rotation for after hours assistance.

**HR**
- Recruitment/On-Boarding
- Orientations at various terminals/sites and Certification and Expirations - TDG, WHMIS, Port Passes ETC
- Employer-Employee Relations
- Drivers Abstract Updates and Monitoring
- Incident reporting, documentation, and Statistics - Shared
- Compensation and Benefits
- Labor Law Compliance
- Training and Development - with Dispatch
- Drug Testing
- Driver File Creation
- SafetySync - compliant and managing.
