Kids Up Front Edmonton is part of a national body called Kids Up Front Canada that oversees 6 regions across the country. Since 2003, Kids Up Front Edmonton has opened over 500,000 doors for children, youth and families with financial or social barriers by providing access to a variety of fun experiences valued at over $13.5 M.
A critical success factor of the Kids Up Front model of providing thousands of kids with enriching experiences, is the diverse network of more than 125+ child-serving community agencies operating within the education, health and the community service sectors. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
Administrative Support
- Provide Edmonton’s monthly numbers for stats keeping.
- Maintain and update data in the Kids Up Front database.
- Pre-event communication to ensure the agency fulfills its responsibilities.
- Post-event follow-up for feedback and agency status records.
- Assist in managing the platforms designed to communicate with agencies and clients (Agency Portal and eHUB).
- Facilitate agency pick-up of physical tickets as needed.
- Adhere to efficiency concerning time frames for ticket distribution, ensuring agencies are notified of opportunities in a reasonable time.
- Engage in the daily ticket & experience in/out processes, ensuring all are being allocated fairly and accurately.
- Train external experience coordinators on policies, procedures, and systems.
- Verify ticket statistics monthly, and present them to the Executive Director for review.
- Document and provide analyses of the number of tickets/experiences per agency, donor, and events monthly.
- Advise Individual and Corporate Donors about the requirements for processing Canada Revenue Agency compliant tax receipting.
- Procure, manage and distribute materials related to the programs.
- Assist with the facilitation of national and local programs as required.
- Identify opportunities to increase the number of valued experiences available for youth.
- Create and execute reports from the Experience Management System to help inform decisions and planning.
Volunteer Program
- Log volunteer hours and responsibilities.
- Manage volunteer opportunities and strategically assign projects to volunteers.
- Host volunteer orientations when appropriate/needed.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, including police checks and child welfare checks, contact information, etc.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU**
- **Education**:A diploma or degree in child and youth services, social work, non-profit management, event management, business, or any other related field is preferred
- **A passion for impact**:Demonstrated commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children, youth, and families facing barriers.
- **Organizational skills**: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced environment.
- **Communication**:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with donors, agencies, and volunteers.
- **Flexibility and adaptability**: Ability to adapt to changing needs, identify opportunities for program enhancement, and facilitate programs and initiatives as required.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $52,500 annually.
