**Park Paving Ltd.** has been locally owned and operated for almost 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. With a solid reputation for excellence in our industry and a commitment to providing high-quality services, we are currently searching for a dedicated and experienced **Lands Coordinato**r to join our team.

This is a Full time, year-round, permanent, salary position based out of Park Paving’s main office with a field work component. Overtime will be required.

**Level**:Intermediate

**Responsibilities**:

- **Environmental Monitoring**: Responsible for collecting and reporting environmental data and samples as required by regulatory authorizations at gravel pits in remote areas.
- **Inventory Management and Drone Flights**: Responsible for monthly drone flights and modelling completed for inventory management.
- **Operational Support**: Provide operational support related to mining and reclamation of gravel pits.
- **Environmental Management Program**: Conduct inspections, monitoring, and reporting to ensure compliance with environmental best management practices and regulatory requirements for company facilities.

**Requirements**:

- B.Sc. or technical diploma in environmental science, agrology, biology, forestry or similar discipline
- Registered or eligible to be registered in a related professional association in Alberta (e.g. Alberta Society of Professional Biologists, Alberta Institute of Agrologists, or Association of Alberta Forest Management Professionals)
- Minimum two years experience in field related to environmental permitting, monitoring and compliance.
- Current knowledge of federal, provincial and municipal environmental regulations, policies, and permitting requirements mainly related to sand and gravel pits.
- Must hold or be willing to acquire Drone Pilot Certificate for Advanced Operations.
- Experience in sand and gravel mining industry is an asset.
- GIS software experience is an asset.
- Must be able to work independently and in remote field settings with mínimal supervision.
