To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and hands-on **Inside Sales Representative**: to join our West Edmonton team. This is a permanent full-time position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability and specifications
- Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures
- Accurately process a large number of customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns
- Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
- Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any potential customer issues
- Processing of debit and credit payments
- General clerical tasks including, but not limited to intercompany product requests and associated documentation

**Core Competencies**:

- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willing to train in a high paced, exciting, and challenging environment
- Have superior communication skills including telephone aptitude, ability to interface with customers, suppliers and outside sales people
- Demonstrate ability to work well with others
- Energetic and outgoing
- Have proven computer keyboarding and data entry skills
- Proficiency with numbers, computer literate and familiar with MS Office

**Education and Experience**:

- Inside Sales: Minimum 1 year sales experience and/or post-secondary accreditation in Business Administration, Sales, and Marketing
- B2B sales experience preferred
