**Job Description**:
ADGA has an immediate opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager this permanent full-time role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of one of our large defence contracts. This role will be a main point of contact for ADGA resources deployed on the program and will support the Senior Program Manager in all aspects of resource and program management.
- Foster a strong relationship with all stakeholders and acts as the Secondary Point of Contact (POC) for the Senior Program Manager.
- Assists in the overall planning and scheduling of project including monitoring and reporting.
- Provides back up support to the Senior Program Manager for account management.
- Works to support the recruitment process by working with our client, Senior Program Manager and Human Resources team to identify program needs and assist in selection of talent.
- Manages the Task Authorization process for new tasks under existing assigned contracts.
- Meets with employees on an on-going basis to provide feedback, direction and support wherein needed.
- Sources feedback from the client and other appropriate resources to ensure a high level of quality and performance.
- Ensures that any required client or ADGA training is completed and tracked.
- Identifies future training requirements to ensure team members maintain the necessary skills for program execution.
- Solicits feedback from team members and addresses concerns.
- Identify project concerns and alert management of potential risks on assigned projects. Develop a plan to minimize detrimental impacts and mitigate risks.
- Provide a path of communication between the Program Manager and other stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and reduce risk through managing scope and contract change.
**Qualifications**:
- 5-10 years of professional experience working in project management.
- 5+ years of experience working in Federal Government contracting.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience as a people leader including performance management and as a hiring manager is beneficial.
- Language: Fluent in English, Bilingual is preferred.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- A combination of education and experience with the proven ability to perform the job tasks may be accepted.
