**About Us**

**Job Summary**:
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain & Facilities Manager, the **_Procurement and Materials Coordinator_** acts as a buyer and materials coordinator in support of all of BellatRx's operations. The Procurement and Materials Coordinator ensures adequate stock levels of all necessary materials, parts, tools, and third-party machines by ordering, purchasing, receiving, and processing all necessary items in a timely fashion and in accordance with our internal purchasing and inventory management systems and procedures. The Procurement and Materials Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating all third-party modification requests and ensures that all modification requests are issued and received on time.

**Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
**Procurement**:

- Using our ERP, perform a variety of procurement and inventory management duties.
- Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
- Prepare and issue requests for quotes.
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers with the goal of reducing costs and delivery times.
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers.
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
- Reconcile inventory and billing discrepancies by comparing suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
- Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
- Rectify receiving issues (over/under shipments).
- Monitor supplier or contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.
- Cancel open orders when necessary.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers (account management).
- Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, price lists and supplier lists.

**Material and inventory control**:

- Verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications of raw materials or machine modification requests.
- Prepare and issue modification quotes.
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers of modification services.
- Follow up with suppliers and ensure modified materials and machine parts are received on time and in accordance with specifications.
- Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs (open bin & commonly used parts), ordering more materials when necessary.
- Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer procedures for bookkeeping purposes.
- Perform periodic inventory count.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics and procurement in manufacturing.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy: MS Office software and ERP systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge (verbal and written) of both French and English.
- High-school minimum, DEP in supply chain management, business, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related role.

Le coordinateur de l'approvisionnement et des matériaux garantit des niveaux de stock adéquats pour tous les matériaux, pièces, outils et machines de tiers nécessaires en commandant, achetant, recevant et traitant tous les articles nécessaires en temps voulu et conformément à nos systèmes et procédures internes d'achat et de gestion des stocks. Le coordinateur des achats et du matériel est également responsable de la coordination de toutes les demandes de modification par des tiers et veille à ce que toutes les demandes de modification soient émises et reçues à temps.

- Examiner les demandes d'achat pour en vérifier l'exactitude, la terminologie et les spécifications.
- Préparer et émettre des demandes de devis.
- Comparer les prix, les spécifications et les dates de livraison afin de déterminer la meilleure offre parmi les fournisseurs potentiels dans le but de réduire les coûts et les délais de livraison.
