**Status**:Temporary (until May 2025)

**About the Role**
CASA House is a live-in program for teens who need support with significant mental health and/or addictions challenges. Teens stay at CASA House for an average of four months. The program involves parents and caregivers as active participants in treatment. Treatment includes individual, group and family therapy, social and life skills training, and on-site schooling in small classroom settings.

The Therapy Support Navigator will:

- Assist therapists and physicians in screening and assessment interviews, in order to develop a treatment plan and clinical pathway for mental health services.
- Actively manage caseload to provide coordination of community-based services to patients and families.
- Provide hands-on modelling and coaching to family members, as determined and guided by the treatment plan.
- Develop and maintain a list of community resources and use these to refer patients and families to community agencies for additional mental health support.
- Utilize critical thinking and accurately interpret complex information to support clinical decision-making.
- Perform electronic medical record administration and documentation.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, arts (majoring in psychology), education or related field.
- Relevant and practical experience in a child and adolescent mental health treatment setting.
- Current registration in good standing with a professional college identified under the Health Professions Act.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to vehicle.

**Conditions of Employment**
- A satisfactory Child Intervention Check.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or exemption on the basis of a protected legal ground.
- Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification (training provided by CASA), as well as physical ability to perform all interventions.
