**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Principle Investigator, the Research Coordinator provides day-to-day supervision of research staff and students, ensuring completion of tasks and compliance with training and organizational policies and procedures while establishing efficient study workflow and processes.

**Rate of Pay**:To commensurate with experience

**Hours of Work**:37.5 hours per week

**Duration**:One year with possibility of renewal

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s level degree in health research methodology, health science, or related field
- Certificate in clinical research (clinical trials certificate/diploma, Society of Clinical Research Associates, Association of Clinical Research Professionals) an asset
- Five years of experience conducting industry sponsored and/or investigator-initaited research studies
- Demonstrated knowledge of ICH GCP, Health Canada regulations, Lawson SOPs, TCPS2, and REB processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and REDCap
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills with high attention to detail
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

**Immunization Requirements**:
Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
- Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
