Wine Sales Representative

**Overview**:
Grand Cru Imports is a Vancouver based wine agency that focuses on selling quality European and Californian wines. By representing multiple brands of prestige, Grand Cru aims to bring the best wines while keeping value in mind. Our main intention is to present exceptional and unique wines to the Canadian market.
As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for the creation and management of the relationships with clients, promoting the products in the portfolio and successfully meeting the targets and expectations set by the company. Therefore, improving the brand recognition through the understanding of the market’s characteristics and the client’s needs.

- Experience: _ 2 years in wine or liquor sales(preferred)
**Required Duties**:
- Develop effective and strong business relationships with accounts.
- Analyze and provide information of current market trends and business opportunities.
- Grow distribution of brands into existing accounts, including new products, and new sizes of existing products.
- Meet with the managers and suppliers in the field to promote the portfolio.
- Create and place displays, shelf spaces and marketing material to promote in stores.
- Negotiate and maintain display space in retail stores.
- Routinely deliver feedback on clients about product performance and the clients needs.
- Monitor stock levels of products in store.
- Execute in-store tastings with LRS accounts.
- Report effectively and adequately to superior about sales meetings, deliverables and sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Required Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient MS Office skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a fully insured, reliable and appropriate vehicle.
- Must be team orientated.
**Physical Demands of Job**:
- Carrying and lifting 45-65 pounds.
- Immediate and overhead reaching to perform various duties.
- Standing and walking for periods of time to perform various duties.
- Squatting or bending to perform various duties as assigned.
**Salary**: competitive salary+commission - based on experience
