Inside/outside Sales Representative for Blue Grouse

North Vancouver, Canada Blue Grouse Wine Cellars Full time

Blue Grouse Wine Cellars markets wine racking/display systems, wine cellar refrigeration equipment and climate-controlled wine cabinets, serving clients across North America with some international sales. We offer in-house design/consultation services to support those sales and work with a developing dealer network to grow our reach across Canada and the US. We also provide full build and design services in Metro Vancouver.

Established in 2007, we are a profitable and growing company, looking to add an experienced salesperson to our team to help increase sales in our local area and beyond.
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience working in a sales role. Preference will be given to those with experience in a related industry (kitchen and bath, closets, hardware, etc).
- An interest in networking and building partnerships.
- A high comfort level putting themself forward face-to-face, virtually or by phone to potential customers.
- An outgoing personality
- An ability to work unsupervised with regular accountability and progress reporting.
- Experience tracking and managing the sales process via online CRM programs.
- A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
- Strong computer skills including an ability to prepare quotes and maintain client records.

**What the role entails**:
This is a new position and we’re looking for someone excited about making it their own. Together and over time, we are open to adjusting your specific responsibilities, based on your interests and skillset. Initial responsibilities will be as follows:

- Following up with sales leads obtained through trade shows or other outreach activities.
- Reaching out to builders, designers and other industry professionals both locally and across North America to introduce them to our products and services.
- Identifying new sales opportunities, specifically involving resellers, and developing our dealer network.
- Setting up appointments for and conducting in-person or virtual presentations
- Conducting on-site sales consultations.
- Generating quotes, often collaborating with design and operations staff.

**Compensation, Schedule and Location**

While the hours are mostly Monday to Friday, some flexibility is required to accommodate client schedules and special events.

The base salary for this role will be $50 - $80K/year. Commissions/bonuses have the potential to be substantial for a high-achieving salesperson.
