
Back Office Processing Coordinator

Reporting to the Back Office Payment and Billing Team Lead, the Back Office Processing Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and processing hours worked, and timesheets received from contractors using various sources.
The Back Office Processing Coordinator examines the timesheets for completeness and accuracy and releases invoices to the client for payment.
As a member of the Back Office Payment and Billing team, the Back Office Processing Coordinator references internal policies and practices and external client guidelines while working within established service level agreements and accuracy targets.
**Responsibilities**:
- Reviews timesheets and expense forms that are submitted by the external contractors for completeness and accuracy
- Feeds processing, Weekly Feeds are received via tickets and the Team needs to verify the spreadsheet making sure all details & format are correct before feeding into the Back Office accounting system
- Releases invoices to Clients
- Enters invoices into customer invoicing web sites
- Releases and distributes Client Invoices
- Processes consolidated invoices as required as per client requirements
- Develops and maintains written process documentation
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Resolves timesheet and invoice discrepancies with account coordinators /Client Services
- Investigates timesheet discrepancies in order to provide accurate and timely resolution
**Job Requirements**:
- 1+ year of experience working in an accounting department
- Basic knowledge of accounting
- Invoicing and/or billing experience
- A self-starter who is results and task oriented, capable of managing timelines
- Ability to work within small teams, and independently
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks and effectively manage in a high stress environment
- Well-developed interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
- Experience with different systems including word processing, spreadsheets, and other software used by the business
- Solid computer experience with quick, accurate PC keyboarding and navigating skills
**Qualifications**
Accounting experience: 1 - 2 years (required)
