The** Brand Marketing and Relations **Specialist** will be responsible for communicating and creating opportunities for the marketing team by maintaining strong relationships with our various brand partners and our internal departments. This person will be the gatekeeper for the department, handling all incoming inquiries.

The person for this job will play a key role in our marketing team by creating and maintaining streamlined communication solutions, and creating brand opportunities to deliver on our company and team objectives.

This position requires a dynamic and outgoing person with the ability to conceptualize, strategize, and communicate effectively while building lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders - all while seeking and creating more opportunities for collaboration and growth.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of best performing channels and practices so as to best communicate our goals and objectives with our partners.
- Communicate with our vendors, branch/showroom managers, and other stakeholders on strategies and initiatives.
- Assist with planning of marketing budgets and initiatives with vendors.
- Present well though-out recommendations to management.
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to enhance opportunities.
- This person will help act as the “face of the company" - essentially the middle-person between the marketing team, branches, vendors, and/or media.
- Liaise between the creative team and the external vendors to achieve mutually desired results, while still maintaining the integrity of our brand and creative vision.
- Assist in the administrative duties of the marketing department to facilitate effective and efficient communication.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality with a strong passion for communications and interpersonal relations
- Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to perceive and present information analytically and creatively, to all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized and excellent project management skills
- Proven skills or applicable certifications in Direct to Customer or Business to Business marketing.
- Ability to travel
- Ability to lift boxes
- Must reside in the Greater Victoria Area, BC, or be willing to relocate to the Greater Victoria Area before starting the role.
