
Part-time Office and Facilities Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Part-Time Office and Facilities Coordinator to ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and organization of our workplace. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining a conducive environment for our team by focusing on the cleanliness of shared washrooms, general office upkeep, and assisting with office-related purchases. The hours will be Monday & Wednesday 8-3 or 3:30 (approximately 15 hours/week).
**Responsibilities and Tasks**:
**Clean Washroom**:
- Regularly clean and sanitize the shared washroom four times a day to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Monitor and replenish essential supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels as needed.
**Maintenance Reporting**:
- Promptly report any maintenance issues related to the washroom or the office to the Operations Manager for resolution.
**Office Upkeep**:
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the office space, including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, and trash removal as necessary.
- Keep the office kitchen area clean and well-organized by washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, emptying trash, and ensuring a sufficient supply of food and snacks.
**Organization**:
- Organize loose or open items in the office, ensuring that everything is neatly stored in labeled boxes or designated spaces to maintain a clutter-free workspace.
**Supply Purchasing**:
- Be responsible for purchasing necessary office and restroom items as required, ensuring a well-stocked and functional workplace.
**Driving and Vehicle Use**:
- Possess a valid driver's license and, when required, use a personal vehicle to carry out necessary tasks, such as purchasing supplies or running errands for the office.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable and responsible with a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills for reporting maintenance issues and coordinating office needs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle when necessary.
