Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking **Supply Base Management Specialist**, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, working out of the **Ottawa, ON **office. The **Supply Base Management Specialist** will join Vertical Lift Sustainment Supply Chain function, and develop a strong understanding of the integration across multiple functions (i.e. Contracts, Estimating and Pricing, and Supply Chain).
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
- Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.
- Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities.
- Develops mitigation plans.
- Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities.
- Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- 5+ years of experience working directly with Supplier Management
- 3+ years of experience in a role that required Project Management skills
- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
- Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:
- Post-secondary education
- Aerospace and/or Manufacturing experience
- Active security clearance
**Typical Education and Experience**:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
