**Tasks**
- Translate sign language to a spoken language and vice versa
- Provide interpretation services in court
- Interpret language for individuals and small groups
- Train and supervise staff
- Identify the terminology used in a field of activity
- Maintain the content, context and style of the original material
- Manage, update and circulate linguistic information
- Perform quality control and proofreading
- Provide consultative services to translators, interpreters and technical writers
- Revise and correct translated material
- Translate a variety of written material
