**Refugee Settlement Lead**

Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or status.

We are** **searching for a full-time Refugee Settlement Lead to facilitate effective and timely wrap around case management model for resettled refugees. This is a key centralized role to provide coordinated support for refugees resettling in Canada from various regions in the world and works from established off-site locations within the community.

**hat you will be doing**:

- Act as the resource lead for settlement workers directly supporting refugees and a connection point for all others involved to ensure early access to relevant and culturally informed services.
- Organize relevant weekly activities for Refugee clients and facilitate discussion on their experience with services, successes and challenges.
- Draft monthly analysis of needs, trends and gaps, document promising practices and solicit recommendations from both frontline and refugees on a quarterly basis
- Support the team to organize and deliver activities that address the refugees’ needs
- Streamline connections and referrals to other available resources in the community for refugees.
- Work closely with volunteer coordinator to support, training and involvement of volunteers in various ongoing activities targeting refugees to create space for sharing and learning while connecting with others in various in-person, online and hybrid formats.
- Develop and implement community outreach plans to promote CCS programs and services
- Participate in regular program, team and regional meetings
- Prepare and submit statistical and progress reports to supervisor as required
- Other related duties as required

**What are we looking for?**
- Social Work degree or Social Service Worker diploma from recognized institution or equivalent combination of training and work experience in Human Services field
- Must have minimum of two years’ work experience delivering settlement services for refugees
- Knowledge, understanding and sensitivity to issues affecting immigrant and refugee communities
- Demonstrated commitment to client-centred services delivery and case management
- Demonstrated knowledge of available community resources and services
- Ability to work effectively in partnership with other service providers
- Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills with clients, other agencies and the public
- Demonstrated ability to work productively both in a team setting as well as independently
- Highly developed organizational skills, ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy in data collection and reporting
- Thorough understanding of data analysis and presentation
- Highly competent and engaging public speaker with keen ability to tailor content to audience
- Experience using MS Office, Survey and design tools, database software and internet search engines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Written and verbal fluency in a second language relevant to the communities served
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset
