Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of key financial processes, including accounts payable, credit card administration, reconciliations, and foreign currency transactions. The Accounting Specialist brings strong technical capability, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to support both day-to-day operations and ongoing improvements within a fast-paced environment.

Manage Accounts Payable email, stamp and code invoices and prepare weekly AP sub-ledgers for approval. Reconcile accounts on a regular basis to ensure that all invoices have been processed correctly and that the company's records are accurate, including foreign currencies.
* Ensure all Amex/Visa credit card transactions are processed timely via Dext and accurately coded to the correct ledger account.
* Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls and signing authorities in online banking, Plooto, cheques and wires.

3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
* Intermediate experience with QuickBooks Online and related applications such as Plooto and Dext.
* Strong understanding of double-entry accounting, GL structures, and balance sheet reconciliation.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of Adobe.
* travel industry experience is an asset.
