TRS Staffing is seeking an experienced Refinery General Manager to oversee production performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards for our clients’ growing team. Our client is a leading organization in the environmental and industrial services sector, recognized for its commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:

Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures for refinery processes.
Hire, train, and mentor staff while fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
Maintain clear communication between management and operations teams.
Lead catalyst selection and optimization for hydro-treating processes.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and ISO quality protocols.
Participate in shutdown planning, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
Develop and manage budgets for chemicals, capital projects, utilities, and other operational needs.
Oversee daily refinery operations to ensure production targets are met and aligned with strategic plans.
Preform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

~ Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
~ Minimum 7 years of experience in refinery or related industrial operations.
~3 - 5 years of leadership and team management experience.
~ Strong financial experience with P&L and business planning exposure.
~ Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
~ Ability to travel as needed.
~ A valid driver’s license is required.
