Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Recruiting Manager at Storm Search - Your Trusted Advisor Location: On-site | Standalone Manufacturing Facility (Relocation Assistance Available) Employment Type: Full-Time Overview A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day plant operations. This role leads a small, experienced workforce and operates with a high level of autonomy. The Plant Manager will be highly visible on the floor, directly involved in maintenance coordination, production planning, and performance management. This position is ideal for a mature, decisive leader who prefers running the entire plant rather than operating within a large corporate matrix. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership of all plant operations including safety, quality, production, maintenance, and labor Maintain a strong floor presence and communicate clearly with employees at all levels Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure equipment reliability and uptime Establish, monitor, and drive site KPIs related to safety, productivity, downtime, cost, and quality Translate sales forecasts into executable production plans Manage site budgets, cost controls, and inventory levels Lead employee engagement, coaching, performance management, and corrective actions (no on-site HR support) Ensure compliance with applicable federal, provincial, and local regulations Recommend and implement approved capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives Prepare and analyze operational reports to support business decision-making Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance partners Serve as a key contributor to the broader business execution team Required Experience & Qualifications 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with full site responsibility Demonstrated success in non-union manufacturing environments Strong working knowledge of maintenance operations, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliabilityExperience leading small to mid-sized plants with limited corporate infrastructure Proven ability to manage employee relations, engagement, and accountability independently Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret operational data and KPIs Comfortable operating in remote or standalone plant environments Eligible to work in Canada Leadership Profile Hands-on, accessible, and visible leadership style Direct communicator who provides honest, timely feedback Decisive and accountable, with the confidence to challenge when appropriate Respected by experienced, long-tenured employees Strong balance of people leadership and operational execution Compensation & Benefits Discretionary annual bonus opportunity Relocation assistance available Company vehicle Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Management and Manufacturing Industries Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
