Outside Territory Sales Representative (Ontario) Join to apply for the Outside Territory Sales Representative (Ontario) role at Change Connect Our client, a national distributor serving building supply retailers and industrial accounts, is seeking TWO dynamic and driven Outside Territory Sales Representatives with experience in the building supply industry to join their growing team. These roles are ideal for passionate sales professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment and are eager to grow their career in B2B sales within the building supply sector. Key Responsibilities Acquire, manage, and grow customers in the building supply industry Provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top‑line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability Conduct market research, set target goals, and establish detailed plans to secure and grow existing customers with trackable measures in terms of business annual increases and profitability Identify opportunities for future businesses, create and execute specific strategic plans to gain more new customers and commodities with remarkable revenue and profitability Set specific targets to increase sales by certain percentages contributing to the company’s growth Visit local customers daily, understand customer needs, keep good contacts, and maintain healthy relationships with customers Provide market insights and feedback on the industry on a weekly basis Analyze and report forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis Reach out to customers when needed, expedite actions and resolutions to customers when problems or complaints arise to maximize customer satisfaction Provide communications on follow‑ups and identify opportunities and challenges with management Create a feedback and reporting structure to reflect successes and challenges Meet targets set by the sales director to hit milestones and bonuses Attend and participate in industry tradeshows and events Coordinate meetings, visits, and other key events with senior management on major and specific target accounts Must attend weekly meetings—one day per week in head office Territory South Western Ontario North Central Ontario Specific coverage areas available upon request. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as an outside territory sales representative, preferably in the building supply industry (highly preferred) Proven track record of success in the building supply, construction materials, or related industries is an asset Strong passion for sales and willingness to learn and advance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Majority of the time will be spent on the road visiting customers; requires office presence once per week Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and strong analytical skills Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze people and situations Organized, dependable, honest, and a great team player in a target‑driven environment Outside‑of‑the‑box thinker with the ability to quickly adapt to various situations Benefits and Compensation Opportunity to earn over 100K annually Comprehensive vision, dental, and medical benefits Paid vacation days Paid travel expenses and mileage reimbursements Opportunities for growth and development within the organization Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Information Technology Industries Wireless Services, Telecommunications, and Communications Equipment Manufacturing Location Mississauga, Ontario, Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
