Join to apply for the Payroll Administrator role at Accountant Staffing Our client, a professional and collaborative mission driven organization based in Halifax, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team on an immediate basis. This is an excellent contract opportunity for someone with payroll experience who enjoys working in a service and team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time payment Administer employee pay changes, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, and retroactive adjustments Maintain accurate payroll records and employee payroll data Respond to payroll-related inquiries and support employees as needed Ensure payroll processes align with internal policies and applicable regulations Other payroll related duties and/or projects as assigned Experience & Attributes for Success Post-secondary education in accounting, office administration, or related field is ideal Previous experience in a similar, hands‑on payroll role Experience with Rippling is an asset; experience with other payroll systems will also be considered Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information Organized, dependable, and able to meet tight payroll deadlines Professional demeanor with strong collaboration and communication skills If interested in this opportunity, please apply online by clicking the Apply Now button.
