Payroll Administrator
to join their team on an immediate basis. This is an excellent
contract
opportunity for someone with payroll experience who enjoys working in a service and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time payment
- Administer employee pay changes, including new hires, terminations, bonuses, and retroactive adjustments
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee payroll data
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and support employees as needed
- Ensure payroll processes align with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Other payroll related duties and/or projects as assigned
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- Post-secondary education in accounting, office administration, or related field is ideal
- Previous experience in a similar, hands-on payroll role
- Experience with Rippling is an asset; experience with other payroll systems will also be considered
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Organized, dependable, and able to meet tight payroll deadlines
- Professional demeanor with strong collaboration and communication skills
