Job Description Our federal government client is seeking the services of a Bilingual Lead Negotiator, Collective Bargaining to join their team. This is a 1-year remote contract with 2 optional periods. Travel to Calgary will be required on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities Act as a resource and provide advice on the negotiation strategy. Conduct preparatory meetings for collective bargaining. Determine and coordinate the gathering and preparation of information required for negotiations. Prepare draft proposals and final proposals. Lead and conduct negotiations, including preparing and recommending bargaining positions, responses and strategies, and drafting effective contract language. Participate in a debriefing session with management on completed negotiations. Qualifications Experience acting as a chief employer negotiator in several rounds of collective bargaining. At least one round of collective bargaining experience in the federal public service. Expertise in all aspects of collective bargaining, including dispute resolution processes and/or dealing with strike action. Must have experience acting as principal employer representative in conciliation, mediation, and/or arbitration proceedings. Reliability clearance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
