Bilingual Collections Agent

Ottawa, Canada OCM Auto Financing Full time

The Collections Agent will perform to the following duties and undertake the following responsibilities in a professional manner:

- Maintain the filing system with both electronic and paper copy documents.
- Prepare loan documents.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Conduct collection calls on past-due payments.
- Update account status records and collection efforts.
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
- Keep track and follow up on borrower insurance policies.
- Provide other secretarial and administrative support to management and other staff.
- Collaborate and engage with other members of the team.
- Additional administrative duties as assigned.
- Two-five years of relevant work experience in a collections position.
- Experience with Autopal is considered an asset.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be data driven when it comes to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Bilingual in English/French is essential.
