They offer a broad spectrum of legal services and are located in a modern building with excellent amenities. They are looking for a Bookkeeper/Administrator to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of a reputable law firm. This position is in-person and will involve a combination of bookkeeping responsibilities and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and financial skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Must have experience using PCLaw and Bookkeeping in a legal environment Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and invoicing. Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly. Prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets. Assist in budget planning and expense tracking. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Greet clients and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages. Maintain and organize legal documents, records, and case files. Assist with filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks. Monitor and order office supplies and equipment as needed. Collaborate with other staff to ensure the office runs efficiently. Candidate requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or financial management, preferably in a law office or legal environment. Proficiency in PCLAW accounting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
