Bilingual IT Support Specialist – Permanent – 18675 – LRO StaffingAbout The OpportunityA well‑established nonprofit in downtown Ottawa seeks a Bilingual IT Support Specialist to join its Operations team. Working closely with the IT Manager, the role provides hands‑on technical support across software, hardware, networks and security. The position is hybrid – three days a week in office – and requires fluency in both official languages.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the IT Manager and external providers to support internal users and maintain system health.Install and configure software and hardware, and administer Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, etc.).Perform data recovery, troubleshooting and manage IT asset inventory.Research emerging industry trends and advance process automation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Networking, or related field.At least 2 years of IT operations and technical support/system administration experience in a Windows environment.Experience leading a holistic IT function, including software, hardware, network administration and security.Strong Office 365 expertise (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, etc.).Bilingualism in English and French – imperative.Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work both in a team and independently.The JobThis is a permanent, full‑time role with 1‑to‑1 benefits, pension contribution, competitive salary and full benefits.
