Objectif du poste Le généraliste RH assiste le partenaire RH (HRBP) dans la prestation de services RH à l’unité opérationnelle de production. Le titulaire du poste supervise le soutien RH quotidien et se concentre principalement sur le recrutement pour les postes de type industriel (40 % de responsabilité en matière de recrutement). Ce poste garantit la cohérence des opérations RH, la conformité, l’expérience des employés et l’acquisition de talents, et exige un haut niveau de professionnalisme. Principales responsabilités Recrutement et acquisition de talents (40 %) Gérer le recrutement pour les postes dans l’usine opérationnelle de production (soudeurs, braseleurs, techniciens électriques et mécaniques, magasiniers, etc.). Piloter l’ensemble du cycle de recrutement : publication des offres d’emploi, recherche de candidats, présélection, entretiens et coordination des offres d’emploi. Maintenir des viviers de candidats pour les postes très demandés et créer des stratégies de recherche proactives. Coordonner les vérifications des antécédents, les vérifications des références, les offres d’emploi et les tâches d’intégration. Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le partenaire RH et les responsables du recrutement afin de comprendre les besoins en matière de planification des effectifs. Préparer et mettre à jour les descriptions de poste et les offres d’emploi en fonction des besoins de l’entreprise. Organiser l’orientation des nouveaux employés et les présentations. Relations avec les employés et soutien RH (20 %) Servir comme point de contact pour les demandes relatives aux ressources humaines. Fournir des conseils sur les politiques, les avantages sociaux, la conformité et les processus de rendement. Assurer le suivi des formations suivies et des certifications requises. Soutenir les processus d’évaluation des employés en période d’essai et assurer le suivi auprès des gestionnaires. Opérations RH et conformité (20 %) Tenir les dossiers des employés à jour et mettre à jour le SIRH pour les embauches, les licenciements, les promotions, les mutations et les changements de statut. Soutenir la conformité réglementaire CNESST. Aider à répondre aux demandes de renseignements sur les avantages sociaux et au processus d’inscription. Projets RH et soutien aux programmes (20 %) Soutenir les initiatives menées par les partenaires RH (engagement, cycles de gestion des performances, évaluations des talents, programmes DEI). Aider à la communication, aux présentations et à la préparation de documents pour la direction. Aider à la collecte et à l’analyse des données RH (rotation du personnel, indicateurs de recrutement, changements d’effectif, indicateurs de formation). Participer aux activités d’amélioration continue afin d’optimiser les processus RH. Qualifications Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe (préféré). Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en recrutement et plus de 5 ans en tant que généraliste en ressources humaines, idéalement auprès d’une équipe industrielle. Expérience requise dans le cycle complet du recrutement. Excellente compréhension des pratiques RH et de la réglementation du travail au Québec. Excellentes aptitudes en communication, professionnalisme et établissement de relations. Grand souci du détail, excellentes capacités d’organisation et de multitâche. Maîtrise des systèmes SIRH, des outils de recrutement et de Microsoft Office. Bilingue (français et anglais). Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (40 %) Manage recruiting for manufacturing plant roles such as welders, braisers, electrical and mechanical technicians, warehouse workers, and other key roles within the plant. Drive the full recruitment cycle: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers. Maintain candidate pipelines for high‑demand roles and create proactive sourcing strategies. Coordinate background checks, reference checks, job offers, and onboarding tasks. Work closely with the HRBP and hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs. Prepare and update job descriptions and job postings aligned with business needs. Conduct orientation tours and presentations. Employee Relations & HR Support (20 %) Act as a point of contact for HR inquiries. Provide guidance related to policies, benefits, compliance, and performance processes. Track training completions, and required certifications. Support probationary review processes and follow‑up with managers. HR Operations & Compliance (20 %) Maintain employee records and update HRIS for hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and status changes. Support Canadian regulatory compliance. Assist with benefits inquiries and the enrollment process. HR Projects & Program Support (20 %) Support HRBP‑led initiatives such as engagement activities, performance management cycles, talent reviews, and DEI programs. Assist with communications, presentations, and materials for leadership. Help collect and analyze HR data (turnover, recruiting metrics, headcount changes, training metrics). Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance HR processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of recruiting experience, 5+ years of HR generalist experience ideally with an industrial workforce. Experience with full‑cycle recruitment required. Strong understanding of HR practices and employment regulations in Quebec. Excellent communication, professionalism, and relationship‑building skills. High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient with HRIS systems, ATS tools, and Microsoft Office. Bilingual (French and English). Why Join SMARDT?
