Montreal Corporate Head Office, where most of their employees are based, offers career opportunities in Design, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR as well as in the Production and Warehousing facilities.
Reporting to the VP of HR, the HR Generalist is responsible for providing support to managers and employees of JR Inc worldwide. The incumbent assists members of the HR and Payroll team in a broad range of HR Services such as integration, employee relations, training and benefits and insures the effectiveness of processes within the business.
**RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
HR and Organizational Branding
- Support in all communication initiative (live or virtual)
- Order and maintain inventory of new employee gifts.
Training
- Coordination of all training live or virtual worldwide.
- Participation in Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
Recruitment
- Assist with the onboarding and integration of new employees
- Develop successful partnership with schools to develop internship programs
- Support in recruitment
- Assist with job offer letters, contracts, and onboarding packages through Dayforce
- Assist in all initiatives within the first year of hire
General HR tasks
- Manage and update employee files
- Produce and submit reports (HR KPI’s/Absenteeism and other ad hoc reports)
- Administer Bill 90
- OLF Administration (Office de la langue française)
- Maintenance of all policies
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, Human Resources management, or Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources management (or related experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent
- Excellent computer skills and extensive knowledge of Word, Excel and Power point
- Perfectly Bilingual, English and French (written and spoken)
- Must have experience in organizational communication
- Knowledge of Dayforce is an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
