This role drives strategic HR initiatives including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits management, and training and development. The position ensures legal compliance, supports workforce planning, fosters a positive work culture, and provides leadership in resolving employee relations matters. The Manager – Human Resources also develops HR metrics, reports, systems, and processes to support business decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain strong alignment with organizational goals. With extensive HR experience and strong leadership capabilities, the role plays a key part in supporting employee growth, organizational development, and business success.Provide input to the corporate Human Resources Division for the development of the Human Resources business plan, such as key HR statisticsProvide cost efficient Human Resources services to facilitate business needs in IndiaKey Responsibilities (Customer Focus)Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategyBridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issuesManage the recruitment and selection processSupport current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capitalDevelop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organizationNurture a positive working environmentOversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performanceMaintain pay plan and benefits programAssess training needs to apply and monitor training programsReport to management and provide decision support through HR metricsEnsure legal compliance throughouthuman resource managementKey Responsibilities (Internal Business Process)Enforce corporate Human Resources policies and procedures related to talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, and personnel affairs within IndiaEnforce the usage of HR standard forms and templates in India, including standard employment contracts, timesheets, vacation request forms etc. as per corporate policies and proceduresProvide market intelligence on the suitability of current compensation levels compared to the market to the Human Resources - India SectionManage and maintain an India employees databaseLaunch the appraisal process for India staff in accordance with policies, guidelines and forms communicated by corporate Human ResourcesMatch appraisers to appraisees and review self-assessment forms for completenessReview completed assessment results and submit to the Human Resources (India) SectionCommunicate changes to grade, promotion and employment status to local employees according to the performance appraisal process in coordination with Human Resources (India) SectionDevelop Human Resources statistics and reports for the Geography Manager and corporate Human ResourcesExperience, Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies15+ years of experience in Human ResourcesBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Human ResourcesKnowledge of the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry is an advantageIn depth understanding of all Human Resource principles including recruitment, career development, training, personnel affairs, organization development and compensationGood working knowledge of labor lawsFamiliarity with usage of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), payroll systems and other HR ERP systemsExcellent organizational skillsStrong communication and negotiation skillsExcellent conflict resolution skillsExcellent interpersonal and leadership skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
