Join to apply for the Shift Lead (LTSH) role at E4C. e4c’s Long-Term Supported Housing provides a home to individuals with complex mental health and addictions who require 24/7 on-site support. Operating from a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and harm reduction approach, residents work with onsite staff to set and work towards their own self-identified recovery goals pertaining to overall wellness and recovery. As Shift Lead, you will lead by example, supporting your team through relationship-based practices, strengthening operational consistency, and fostering an environment that respects Indigenous worldviews and cultural diversity. You will help residents achieve their self-identified wellness goals while creating a supportive, safe, and inclusive community. Key Responsibilities Guide and support Community Support Workers through daily supervision, mentoring, and coaching. Foster a positive, collaborative work culture while upholding e4c’s values, policies, and procedures. Assist in ensuring smooth daily operations and completion of frontline responsibilities. Collaborate on the creation and implementation of individualized recovery-oriented care plans. Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including incident reports and resident updates. Report on resident progress and program outcomes to support contractual requirements. Foster environments of empathy, respect, and community-building among residents. What You Bring To The Team Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. 2+ years of experience supporting vulnerable or high-risk populations. 1+ year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Knowledge of Housing First, harm reduction, and trauma-informed practices. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, vehicle insurance ($2M liability), and access to a personal vehicle. Ability to manage conflict, mentor staff, and foster professional growth. Strong understanding of mental health, addiction, homelessness, and Indigenous awareness. Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills. Knowledge of Edmonton’s support services and referral systems.
