In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business through outside sales activities such as prospecting, telemarketing, territory planning, cold calls, and relationship building. The Business Development Specialist is accountable for focusing on and generating business through new sales with companies of all sizes and industries.Our Core ValuesAt IS2, everything we do is aligned with our Core Values—because how we work is just as important as what we achieve.Safety – Ensuring all our employees return home safely to their families.Innovation – Investing in tools, training, and services to prepare candidates for success.Collaboration – Working with Canada’s workforce and employers to create a stronger economy.As a Business Development Specialist, you will:Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives for medium to large size accounts.Utilize a consultative sales approach and follow a strategic market plan to develop new business.Perform weekly marketing calls and garner weekly appointments.Use the consultative sales strategy to effectively resolve client objections and maximize sales activity within assigned territory.Evaluate and determine client needs and a plan of action to offer staffing solutions.Collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the account.Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts.Collaborate with internal service staff to ensure that accounts sold are consistent with service resources and candidate pool.Establish pricing for quotes and bids that are consistent with the company’s financial objectives.Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by IS2 and awareness of the competitionMeet/exceed performance expectations including weekly calls, appointments, and GP dollarsOrganize weekly sales efforts utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including all contacts, activities, appointments, and opportunities.Qualifications4-year Degree or equivalent business experience.5 + years of business-to-business sales experienceStaffing industry experience, preferably in business developmentFamiliar with consultative, solutions-based sellingStrong sales presentation and persuasion skillsPossess a high sense of urgency and self confidenceWork well within a quota driven environmentStrong work ethic and a positive attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEnergetic, self-manager who can lead and achieve sales goals.Vehicle required to travel throughout Mississauga/Brampton and the GTAWe’re looking for someone who is as passionate about results as they are about relationshipsWhy Join IS2?Competitive base salary $75,000 to $80,000 (based on experience) + uncapped commissionOngoing sales training, mentorship, and career advancementA people-first company that lives its values—every single dayBe part of a growing company making a national impactIf you are interested in this opportunity, apply with your resume today #J-18808-Ljbffr
