Lutendi Systems is a new startup based in Ottawa founded by two uOttawa alumni, catering to mid-market and enterprise customers in the residential real estate industry. Lutendi reports the monthly rental payments of residents in order to help facilitate credit building for on-time rental payments. Our goal is to monitor, track, manage and ultimately help resolve issues related to credit losses, late payments and help improve operational efficiency for real estate companies. We report monthly rental payments to the credit bureaus. If you would like to be part of a founding sales team, this is the job for you. You will be able to accelerate your learning greatly by working in an environment where you are expected to develop new skills in a short amount of time. You will be reporting directly to the CEO and COO and will be on the ground floor to help build the sales motion for this enterprise. 


Details: 


  • Term: 4 Months (Fall 2024).
  • Location: Remote, or in-person with the founders. 
  • Hours: 9AM-5PM.
  • Compensation: Competitive Salary + 10% Commission.
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. 


The role: 


  • You will be learning about our products and services so that you can best assist potential customers in the residential real estate industry.
  • Assist in creating a GTM sales playbook that will be used for ongoing operations. 
  • Create new leads by calling up to 100 contacts per day. 
  • You will be taking up to 10 discovery calls a week with customers who are interested in learning more about the product. 
  • Create and organize any pertinent documents on the team Notion. 
  • Manage inbound leads via Google Ads and SEO channels. 
  • Book 1-3 discovery calls per day and confirm these meetings with potential customers.
  • Work closely with the Apollo CRM to ensure optimal tracking and functionality.
  • Follow up with customers who are interested and create and personalized materials if needed (Looms, Slides, 1-pagers, etc). 
  • Build and cultivate effectively B2B partnerships through building relationships with current and new contacts.


We’re looking for people who:


  • Are a current student looking for an internship in the Fall of 2024, with a possibility of returning for a full time position in 2025 upon graduation.
  • Have a great deal of energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn on the fly. 
  • Are driven, self-motivated, and have a great work ethic. 
  • Focused on KPI’s and metrics, with a meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Have a strong desire to learn and develop as a professional via being receptive to constructive feedback. 
  • Typical of any start-up, the ability to navigate ambiguity and mitigate it with creativity is crucial.
  • An upbeat, solution-oriented person who is driven and looking to work with great people.


Nice to have but not needed:


  • Sales experience.
  • Have been a part of a startup before.
  • Have any competitive experiences, either academic or in organized sports. 
  • Have deep passion for real estate, and/or technology.

Le rôle: 


  • Vous apprendrez à connaître nos produits et services afin de pouvoir aider au mieux les clients potentiels dans le secteur de l'immobilier résidentiel.
  • Vous participerez à la création d'un playbook de vente GTM qui sera utilisé pour les opérations en cours. 
  •  de nouvelles pistes en appelant jusqu'à 100 contacts par jour. 
  • Vous prendrez jusqu'à 10 appels de découverte par semaine avec des clients qui souhaitent en savoir plus sur le produit. 
  • Créer et organiser tous les documents pertinents sur l'équipe Notion. 
  • Gérer les leads entrants via Google Ads et les canaux de référencement. 
  • Réserver 1 à 3 appels de découverte par jour et confirmer ces réunions avec les clients potentiels.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le CRM Apollo pour assurer un suivi et une fonctionnalité optimaux.
  • Suivre les clients intéressés et créer des documents personnalisés si nécessaire (Looms, Slides, 1-pagers, etc). 
  • Construire et cultiver des partenariats B2B efficaces en établissant des relations avec les contacts actuels et nouveaux.
