OverviewWe are currently hiring full time Management Development Program Trainees. This is a New Graduate Opportunity with EMCO Corporation, a leading national wholesale distributor serving the construction industry in Canada.Base Salary - $52,500 + Profit SharingPlease note that successful candidates to this position may be required to relocate within Canada to complete their training. We are a team of enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to meeting and exceeding the needs of the customers we serve. RoleJob title: Management Trainee (Management Development Program). This is a full-time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. You will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of how our business operates. The Role: Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer service – Build product knowledge and gain hands on experience with the logistical side of the business; involvement in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more. Phase 2: Customer relationships and Procurement – Manage large-scale projects, build relationships with customers and vendors, and learn how to read blueprint drawings to create a quote of materials needed. Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales – Focus on business development, selling our products, negotiating contracts, expanding the customer base, and creating strong customer partnerships. Phase 4: Leadership and Operations – Provide strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others, and develop leadership competencies while setting vision and strategy. Upon completing the phases, you will be prepared to take on a managerial role at one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.
