As one of Canada’s most active in-house M&A teams, we partner directly with senior executives to identify, evaluate, and execute transactions that advance TELUS’ long‑term strategy.We’re looking for a Corporate Development Manager (M&A) who thrives at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution. You’ll play a hands‑on role in evaluating new opportunities, supporting live deals, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams across the organization.What You’ll DoAs a Corporate Development Manager (M&A), you’ll be at the center of evaluating and executing key transactions. Your responsibilities will include:Supporting end‑to‑end execution of acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnershipsConducting company and industry research to assess strategic fitBuilding and maintaining detailed financial models, including FCF, DCF, ROI, and scenario analysesPreparing valuation analyses using precedent transactions, public comps, and other methodologiesManaging cross‑functional due diligence processes in collaboration with internal and external teamsAssisting in drafting executive‑level presentations and investment memosSupporting legal documentation through input into agreement schedules and deal summariesWorking alongside Directors and Senior Managers; may lead smaller projects independentlyWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or Engineering, and/ or MBA2–4 years of professional experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or similarStrong financial acumen and understanding of corporate finance and valuation methodologiesProven experience with financial modeling and scenario planningStrong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly and conciselyEffective at engaging with diverse stakeholders and working cross‑functionallyAbility to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA strategic mindset with attention to both financial and operational considerationsHigh degree of professionalism, accountability, and results orientationGreat‑to‑HavesProgress toward or completion of CFA, CPA, or CAExperience in the technology, digital services, or telecom sectorsFamiliarity with deal structuring, legal documentation, or post‑merger integration planningWhy Join TELUS Corporate Development TeamJoin one of Canada’s most active and recognized corporate M&A teams to work on global and complex transactionsGain exposure to executive‑level decision‑making and complex cross‑border transactionsWork on high‑impact deals that shape the future of TELUS’ digital and technology ecosystemHybrid, flexible work environment with opportunities for growth and professional developmentIf you’re looking to be part of a high‑impact, high‑performing team shaping the strategic future of one of Canada’s leading organizations — we’d love to hear from you.#LI-REMOTESalary Range: $78,000-$116,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
