We are seeking a Analyst, Corporate Development Strategy to join our team in Winnipeg.

In order to achieve our company’s acquisition-focused growth objectives, we are looking to add a member to the Corporate Development team.

As an Analyst on the Corporate Development team, you are a business-minded individual who enjoys being hands-on when it comes to analyzing strategic areas for growth for the Company. Working closely with other members of the Corporate Development team and groups throughout the Company, this new position will support and influence the People Corporation acquisition strategy. With a teamwork approach in a high growth environment, we will provide you with the tools and resources required to achieve your career goals and objectives**.**

**The Analyst, Corporate Development Strategy will**:

- Gathering market research and competitive intelligence on industry, market, and competitor trends; including market conditions/dynamics, as well as overall value proposition, strategies, and innovations at competitor firms
- Evaluation of new business sectors for growth, including identifying relevant potential acquisition targets within them, if appropriate
- Assist in qualitative and quantitative analysis for strategic projects related to the company’s M&A strategy, including those related to developing unique acquisition models/structures
- Ongoing updating and enhancing of acquisition target database, as well as maintaining KPIs and dashboards that measure and monitor the effectiveness of Corporate Development activities
- Assist in the preparation of internal materials for communicating group activities and results to the Board of Directors, Executive Management, and other stakeholders
- Support prospecting and relationship development activities through development of presentations as well as other marketing and transaction related materials

**T**o be successful **as an Analyst**, Corporate Development Strategy **with People Corporation, you will need**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a strategy, corporate development, finance, law, or accounting role (prior experience in mergers and acquisitions is an asset)
- Post-secondary degree (Bachelor of Commerce, MBA, or equivalent)
- Highly advanced Microsoft Excel skills in financial and business analysis
- Strong overall computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint with excellent attention to detail
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in a team-based environment
**- Prior experience in mergers and acquisitions is an asset
- Completion of, or progress towards, other finance-related professional designation (CPA, CFA, CBV, etc.) considered an asset
