In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Production & Design and assist in producing quality research reports, and web reports, in both HTML and PDF formats. Strong video/audio editing skills are an asset. Working alongside the various BCA Research product teams, you will be laying out reports, and creating PowerPoint Presentations, and chart packs. You will also create emails, social media ads, and other marketing materials.


Daily Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce design concepts, such as layouts and mock-ups
  • Work within Content Management System (CMS) to publish online material
  • Layout of publications and other research material
  • Creation of Excel charts, using templates
  • Edit audio and video files (podcasts, webcasts)
  • Create HTML emails and ad hoc web pages
  • Update and maintain our company websites
  • Create/design web ads and marketing materials, including booth designs
  • Create PowerPoint presentations


Requirements

  • DEC or Certificate in Graphic Design
  • 1 to 2 years of experience
  • Experience with audio/video editing
  • Experience with HTML and Web development
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Windows platform)
  • Good understanding of basic design principles

Technicien de mise en page et de design

Montreal, QC

Dans ce rôle, vous collaborerez avec des collègues du monde entier et avec l’équipe du contenu en anglais. Ainsi, la maîtrise de l’anglais dans un contexte professionnel est requise.

Dans ce rôle, vous relèverez du vice-président de la production et du design et vous participerez à la production de rapports de recherche de qualité, ainsi que de rapports web, en formats HTML et PDF. De solides compétences en montage vidéo/sonore constituent un atout. En collaboration avec les différentes équipes de produits de BCA Research, vous mettrez en page des rapports et créerez des présentations PowerPoint et des graphiques. Vous créerez également des courriels, des annonces sur les médias sociaux et d’autres documents de marketing.

Principales responsabilités quotidiennes

  • Développer des concepts de design, tels que des mises en page et des maquettes, et les réaliser.
  • Utiliser le système de gestion de contenu (CMS) pour publier des documents en ligne.
  • Mettre en page des publications et d’autres documents de recherche.
  • Créer des graphiques Excel, à l’aide de modèles.
  • Effectuer le montage de fichiers vidéo et sonores (balados, webémissions).
  • Créer des courriels en HTML et des pages web ponctuelles.
  • Maintenir à jour les sites web de notre entreprise.
  • Créer/concevoir des annonces sur le web et du matériel de marketing, y compris les kiosques.
  • Créer des présentations PowerPoint.

Exigences

  • Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou certificat en graphisme
  • Une à deux années d’expérience
  • Expérience en montage vidéo/sonore
  • Expérience du HTML et du développement web
  • Bonne connaissance pratique d’InDesign, de Photoshop, d’Illustrator, de Dreamweaver, de Premiere Pro et d’After Effects d’Adobe ainsi que de Word, d’Excel et de PowerPoint (plateforme Windows)
  • Bonne compréhension des principes de base de la conception graphique
