Key Responsibilities Leeco Steel is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to support our HR operations at the Hamilton, Ontario plant. This role is essential in maintaining smooth day‑to‑day HR functions and providing responsive support to employees and leadership. Recruitment & Hiring Support: Coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and offer letters. Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare onboarding materials, assist with new hire paperwork, orientation logistics, and exit documentation. Employee Records & HRIS: Maintain accurate employee files, update HR systems, and track key dates like probation and anniversaries. Employee Support & Communication: Respond to general HR inquiries, distribute HR communications, and support employee events and training. Administrative Support: Perform filing, scanning, data entry, and maintain HR templates and calendars. Qualifications Certificate or diploma in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred. Familiarity with Canadian employment standards. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
