The Surgical Program comprised of a highly skilled, engaged team of surgeons, anaesthesiologists, nurses, advanced practice nurses, and allied health team members committed to the consistent application of evidence-based practice and patient centered care. With twenty operating room theatres, five cystoscopy suites and interventional radiology suite, HRH provides a wide range of preoperative, intra-operative, and post-operative services. Through their affiliation with the University of Toronto, HRH shares their expertise in minimally invasive surgery with general surgery students around the globe. Other highlights of the program include a Nurse Practitioner led Acute Pain Service, the first Bariatric Program to be accredited by the American College of Surgeons outside of the United States and being a leader in anterior approach hip surgeries.Position Objective:Reporting to the Vice President Clinical, the Program Director, Surgical Services provides strategic leadership oversight for the delivery of the surgical services portfolio (Pre-Screening, Pre-operative Care, Operating Rooms, Cystoscopy, PACU, SDC, Endoscopy, Surgical Clinics, and Inpatient Care) delivering quality patient care services that meets legal, regulatory, and professional requirements aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
