Project Coordinator Join our globally growing team at ATS Industrial Automation where we create complex automation solutions at the highest level that sustainably impact lives around the world. Responsibilities Lead the global project team to execute digital projects on schedule, at or below budget, delivering the contracted scope of work to all applicable codes and standards. Be the key customer contact for assigned projects and responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction. Maintain regular verbal and written contact with key representatives, ensuring all project events and issues are documented. Identify and evaluate new digitalization opportunities. Risk Management Assess and identify project risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation plans. Forecast risk impacts. Project Planning Develop suitable budget allocations for labor and materials. Oversee project schedule development and identify all critical path activities. Plan and execute projects along ATS internal gate process and milestones. Financial Management Work with the financial analyst to ensure all billings and invoicing are submitted on time. Prepare accurate financial and resource forecasts for each project milestone payment. Obtain necessary project gates and customer approvals to enable on‑time payment, including final payment and project closure. Team Leadership Encourage and mentor employees to maintain high morale and efficiency. Manage projects and teams according to ATS procedures, conduct regular reviews, and issue weekly updates. Compliance Ensure all project activities comply with ATS and legal safety standards, including PSHSR. Carry out hazard assessments, inspections, and audits as required. Provide and maintain appropriate safety equipment and materials. Attend HSE due diligence training sessions. Follow quality requirements as defined in ATS manuals and procedures. Customer Relationship Management Act as an internal customer advocate, delivering maximum satisfaction. Proactively handle customer concerns. Partner with ATS Account & Project Manager to manage the customer relationship. Reporting and Change Management Attend project status meetings as requested by Program Manager or Project Management Director. Track all contract changes and prepare CORs (Change Order Requests). Ensure customer‑caused changes are executed only after receipt of agreement. Qualifications Education Post‑secondary college diploma or studies in business informatics, controls engineering, digitization or a comparable qualification. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset. Experience Demonstrated experience in project management or execution, ideally within digitization, IT, or industrial automation. Experience with budget responsibility, resource planning, and forecasting, and working with customers under deadline‑driven, high‑pressure conditions. Familiarity with digital twin, virtual commissioning, IoT, data integration, or related digital technologies. Experience applying structured project management methods; knowledge of ATS internal gate process is a plus. Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, and digital collaboration platforms. Strong analytical, structured problem‑solving and communication skills. High initiative, ownership, and enthusiasm for innovation and digital transformation.
