We are looking for an experienced **Project Coordinator**to work with our Project Managers to plan, organize, and schedule construction projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment with experienced and passionate team members who value integrity, excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Come alongside the Manager of Pre-Construction at the appropriate time in the sales process and continue the client relationship with timely responses to inquiries. Responsibilities will vary based on each client.
- Become well-versed with the client’s vision/needs for the project.
- Attend client meetings if needed. Address client concerns in a timely manner.
- Frequent and timely communication with project managers, subtrades, design team and other team members.
- Verify viable timelines for the start of construction and notify the Manager of Pre-Construction of any potential delays.
- Provide client and designers frequent updates on design deadlines and any impacts to course of construction schedule.
- Determine what factors affect planning design elements, such as budget, architectural preferences, purpose, permit, zoning etc.
- Coordinate detailed design concepts with Architect/Interior Designer that reflect the client’s goals and are within the Client’s approved project budget.
- Coordinate the production of a full set of detailed and supplementary drawings and ensure their accuracy.
- Coordinate the 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
- Create comprehensive selection schedules.
- Ensure all required selections are done in accordance with Selections schedule.
- Confirm allowances when applicable.
- Determine the full scope of the project requirements and provide accurate information for the estimating process and completion of the construction quote.
- Obtain subtrade quotes for the applicable scope of work.
- Assist with material coordination and identify lead times for materials and services.
- Initiate POs and subtrade work orders far enough in advance of construction to prevent negative scheduling impacts.
- Identify and coordinate materials and equipment for site staff and trades.
- Monitor project changes and provide cost estimate of contract changes along with a written description to the necessary departments.
- Ensure materials are ordered and delivery arranged as per the construction schedule.
- **Requirements**_
- Passion for high-end residential construction
- Post Secondary Degree in Architecture, Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Project Management
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination/management in residential construction
- Experience in architectural design would be considered an asset
- Able to read and understand blueprints and drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Must be punctual and reliable
