Loan Solutions Consultant is a critical role at Fairstone Financial, a leading Canadian provider of responsible lending solutions.

Job Title: Loan Solutions Consultant

As a Loan Solutions Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and prospective customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their financial needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess loan applications accurately and timely in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Detail-oriented and able to closely follow credit policy rules to ensure risk parameters are consistently followed.
  3. Gather loan information and sell our loan and protection products.
  4. Closing loans virtually and in person.
  5. Follow up on past due customer accounts and manage cash controls including taking payments.

Requirements:
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • High-school diploma or the equivalent is an asset.
  • Great communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in loan underwriting, experience in a financial institution.
  • Previous experience working with loan origination software.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Maintain a positive supportive attitude, help to maintain a gratifying work atmosphere
