About Our Opportunity

As the Senior Labour Board Officer, you will play an important role in promoting and supporting positive employee and labour relations practices in the Province of Nova Scotia. You will be accountable for efficiently and effectively managing cases adjudicated by the Labour Board in a timely manner in accordance with the Trade Union Act, Labour Standards Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other labour and employment statutes within the jurisdiction of the Labour Board.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Efficiently and effectively manage cases adjudicated by the Labour Board in a timely manner.
  • Provide navigational support to self-represented parties appearing before the Board.
  • Conduct legal research, gather and analyze legal and non-legal information, prepare reports and presentations.What We Offer
