The Program
The NRC’s Postdoctoral Fellowship program offers PDFs access to unique world-class facilities and the opportunity to work alongside multi-disciplinary teams of expert researchers and technicians on projects of critical importance to Canada.

Project Title
Mitigating pathogenesis: The relationship between pyomelanin-like pigment production and hypervirulence of Acinetobacter baumannii

The Role
We are currently seeking a talented postdoctoral candidate in the field of microbiology and microbial pathogenesis. The research project focuses on identifying and characterizing the factors contributing to pigment production and their contribution to the pathogenesis of the nosocomial and multi-drug resistant pathogen Acinetobacter baumannii.

Education
PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology (bacteriology), or related fields. p>
