OverviewWe are hiring a Site Superintendent on behalf of a highly respected General Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering residential and mixed-use projects across Canada. This role is ideal for a construction leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages site activities end-to-end, and is committed to building with quality, safety, and efficiency.As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of residential construction projects from initiation to completion. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.What You Will DoEnsure the effective implementation of the company’s Health & Safety Program.Direct and manage site teams to construct projects in line with contracts, drawings, and specifications.Monitor progress, maintain schedules, and ensure timely completion of milestones.Oversee quality control to make sure work meets or exceeds established standards.Manage site costs and support procurement processes in accordance with company procedures.Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to keep work efficient, professional, and aligned with project goals.Supervise and motivate assistants, hourly staff, and equipment resources for maximum productivity.Administer site documentation and reporting systems in a professional, organized manner.Review scopes of work and identify any discrepancies to the project manager.Inspect work regularly to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and best practices.This Role Could Be for You If You HaveProven experience as a Site Superintendent (or similar role) in residential construction.Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building processes.At least 10 years of construction experience, ideally on mid- to high-rise residential projects.A relevant degree, diploma, or trade certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field (Red Seal Certification is an asset).Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA or equivalent) are advantageous.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: ManagementIndustries: Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
