Who you are:

The Enterprise Agile Coach will be responsible for providing expert guidance and leadership in driving and maintaining the adoption of Agile practices across the organization. This role will have a significant impact on the success of Agile adoption and will work closely with departmental leaders, executive sponsors, and Agile teams.

What you'll do:

This position will have a critical role in developing, implementing and sustaining Agile methodologies, and will work to develop Geotab’s Agile Center of Excellence. The Enterprise Agile Coach will be responsible for assessing and increasing the Agile maturity of the organization, focusing on the development of high-performing teams that deliver business value quickly and efficiently. They will work closely with executives, department leaders, and teams to assess, design, and implement Agile processes and practices that align with business goals and objectives.

How you'll make an impact
  1. Provide leadership and guidance in the development, implementation and maintenance of Agile methodologies across the organization.
  2. Work with senior leaders and executives to develop change management plans that drive Agile adoption and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  3. Responsible for overall organizational change, serving as the main point of contact on the delivery of Agile initiatives.
  4. Serve as a key influencer for Agile Transformation, and develop a network of cross-departmental Agile advocates.
  5. Facilitate and Plan Product Increment planning, Program Retrospectives, Release Demos, Portfolio Reviews and other agile events as needed.
  6. Lead and facilitate workshops, training, and Agile adoption events to promote Agile methodology, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean approaches.
  7. Coach and mentor Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters and others in their efforts to support Agile teams in applying Agile principles and practices.
  8. Foster an Agile culture that embraces continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptability.
  9. Contribute to the strategic direction of the Agile Services team and the company in terms of Agile Transformation.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Agile methodologies, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  11. Develop and implement metrics to measure and track Agile performance, and use data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  12. Accountable for increasing Agile maturity, maintaining team health and the efficient, predictable flow of our Agile Delivery Processes.
What you'll bring to the role
  1. Bachelor’s Degree specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
  2. Advanced agile certifications preferred (e.g. li>
  3. Certifications in Scaled Agile Frameworks (e.g. li>
  4. 10+ years coaching technical development teams as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
  5. 5+ years as Project Manager or equivalent.
  6. Experience in a product development role - other than Project Manager - such as Developer, Dev Manager, Business Analyst, Product Manager.
  7. Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching Agile teams and individuals, with a track record of success in driving Agile Transformation at an enterprise level.
  8. Experience in building and sustaining Agile Center of Excellence within an organization.
  9. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders and executives.
