About the Team: The Corporate Finance Team is ambitious and innovative, with colleagues from industry and public practice. The team is undergoing a Transformation Project, including a switch to a new, more agile accounting system and goals for 2026 such as shortening month-end close, introducing automation, and updating policies. Purpose of the Role The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the day-to-day operation of the firm by performing bookkeeping and transactional processing as part of the Corporate Finance Team. The role offers an opportunity to improve systems and provide professional support to the Finance Team. Core Responsibilities Processing accounts payable in accordance with company policies. Referencing invoices to contracts to ensure accuracy when applicable. Ensuring timely payments to avoid late fees and interest charges. Communicating with vendors in a professional and courteous manner. Assisting with banking duties, including creation of wires, transfers, and management of payment templates. Required Skills & Qualifications Certificate or Diploma in Accounting; equivalent experience will be considered. A minimum of 2 years of related work experience. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Compensation & Benefits This position offers a base salary range of $42,000 - $58,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution, and participation in the profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
