Inside Sales Rep - Western Canada Join Medtronic as an Inside Sales Representative in Western Canada to lead purpose‑driven sales in a connected world. Responsibilities Sell Medtronic products remotely within an assigned geographic area and specific customer accounts. Close sales and achieve quarterly sales quotas. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow‑up and outbound cold calls and emails. Understand customer needs, manage and respond to concerns and problems. Provide input on new markets, product introductions, and existing products or supplies. Promote and establish education of Medtronic products and/or services. Assist field sales representatives in planning and execution of sales activities, including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and follow‑up. Report complaints and adverse drug reactions (ADR). Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key decision‑makers, including physicians, administrators, and procurement departments. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare providers. Provide exceptional customer service and support. Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional activities and product launches. Submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks. Attend virtual meetings, training, and conferences as required. Qualifications High School Diploma (minimum) or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma; 5 years with an associate’s degree; 3 years with a bachelor’s degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory when needed. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field; 3+ years of experience in health care sales; documented sales success in B2B or health care. Physical Job Requirements Able to lift 10 pounds. Extended periods of time doing computer‑based work. Hearing, sight, and speaking ability.
