About the Role Location: Canada (Remote) We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to support our growing portfolio of work with regulatory bodies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative and research-intensive environment, has a passion for governance and regulatory affairs, and enjoys tackling complex policy challenges. The Policy Analyst will have a critical role in supporting Project Leads by conducting in-depth research, analyzing regulatory trends, and contributing to client deliverables.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in policy research and writing, a keen ability to think both conceptually and in detail, and a commitment to supporting high quality work. Experience in professional regulation is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities Conduct research on current regulatory trends, critical risks to be managed within a particular environment, governance best practices, and policy developments across various industries; applies appropriate methodologies to enable evidence-based decision making; monitors and reports on regulatory and legislative environments. Support Project Leads in executing client engagements by preparing first drafts of interview questions, facilitator’s guides, reports, and debrief notes. Assist in regulatory and governance reviews by synthesizing findings, identifying gaps, and providing evidence-based recommendations. Draft, edit, and refine client deliverables to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with regulatory best practices. Conduct policy analysis, assess against regulatory frameworks, and provide insights that challenge norms and establish high standards of excellence. Edit reports, policy documents, and other written materials for content, structure, and tone to ensure quality and consistency. Collaborate with internal teams to develop research summaries, briefing notes, and policy recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience A strong background in policy research and analysis, preferably within the regulatory or governance space. Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively for diverse audiences. Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues from multiple perspectives. Experience developing structured and well-researched reports, interview guides, and policy documents. Exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize information and distill key findings. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong relationship management, able to establish and build relevant client and partner relationships. Advanced degree in public policy, law, political science, governance, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; previous experience with project management tool, Asana, a plus

Role Structure We are accepting both part-time and full-time applicants, with an opportunity to discuss any specific requirements around flexibility. This position is fully remote. There may be occasional travel required for client or team meetings.

Salary and Compensation The annual salary range for this position is between $75,000 to $95,000, based on experience and competencies. In addition, we offer performance-based bonuses and incentives. Comprehensive health care benefits are also included.
